Jenette McCurdy's debut album is to be released June 30, 2009. I think her voice is unlike other actor-singer crossovers. She's actually good. Most actor-singer crossovers suck. I think she's good, her voice doesn't sound edited, and she has an extra twist: she is a country singer. 99% of actor-singer crossovers sing pop, or, if anything else, pop rock.
