Kevin Jonas wedding plans

Not much to report here. Nick says his bro plans for a late 2009/early 2010 wedding. Kevin doesn't know if Joe or Nick will be his best man yet. No venue has been chosen yet.

Avril and Deryck gossip

I signed up to get emails whenvever there are articles written about Avril Lavigne. Yesterday, all of the articles were about Avril and husband Dereck Whibley. It said they were divorcing. I thought nothing of it until I got today's email. It was exactly the same as yesterday's. Is this a hoax like her preganacy rumors? There has been talk about a Lavigne/Whibley divorce, but never this much. I also noticed that in all of the articles I read, none of them said she confirmed the divorce. Even in one of them, the headline read "Avril Lavigne Said to Start Divorce Proceedings", but the bottom said "They, however, have repeatedly denied separation rumors". I doubt they are really splitting.
UPDATE: Avril and Dereck were spotted grocery shopping recently. I think they just went out so people could see they were still together. I mean, they could've easily sent someone else out to do it. They have people whose job it is to take care of that.
FURTHER UPDATE: On Thursday, September 17, Avril confirmed the split. Divorce papers will be signed soon.

Paramore new tour

As most Paramore fans probably now know, Paramore will be headlining a tour for brand new eyes (officially typed in all lowercase). I, as a loyal Paramore fan, got tickets to their tour in my city! I am very excited and can't wait! They will be in my town early October and I will tell you all about how it was and what songs they did! I still don't know who I'm going to bring; none of my friends really like Paramore that much. I wish I could go by myself. Anyway, their tour kicks off on September 29th, the day their album reaches shelves (and iTunes).

Deal or No Deal no more?

Have you noticed when a show begins to trinkle out, it starts getting desperate for viewers? That is exactly what previously everpopular game show Deal or No Deal seems to be doing. They cut it to a half-hour; they have specials every week like Firefighter's Week and Teacher's Week; they touched up the gameplay and tweaked it to make it more exciting. I think the real issue with Deal or No Deal is that it's the same every time. Every game show has something that changes every time: Who Want to be a Millionare has different questions every time; The Price is Right has different games and very enthusiastic contestants; every show is different or has a puzzle for the at-home viewer to participate in; Deal or No Deal does not. Viewers cannot participate in the game while at home on their couches very well. No matter how awesome your host is, it doesn't make the game much better.

Miley is not a role model; she's a scandal

Maybe a better song for Miley to sing would be "The Best Damn Thing" by Avril Lavigne. Miley sure seems like "a hell of a scandal". And she apparently thinks she's "the best damn thing that our eyes have ever seen" as well. Miley's performance at the Teen Choice Awards shocked me. She's doing this performance in front of millions of tiny children; you'd think she'd know that. She could've dressed better in the first place. Wearing a shirt that revealed much of her bra and shorts that looked like a Speedo, she pranced about the stage as if she had no idea. Then she hopped aboard the infamous ice cream cart. Now, I'll admit, it didn't looks as bad on TV as people made it look online; but it's the principle. No 16-year-old, particularly a 16-year-old role model, should pole dance on live television. It seems like Miley's bad decisions are getting more and more frequent.

The Time of Our Lives

Miley Cyrus -- the sound of her name makes your ears bleed. She's a bad role model with all those nasty photos on the internet. Her voice annoying, and we're all tired of hearing it on mainstram radio (stick to Radio Disney, where the toddlers that listen actually WANT to hear your manly voice!). But I'm sure we've all heard about her new single, "Party in The USA", which was illigally leaked online. The song is awful. It's just flat-out annoying. Her vocals are horrible (I know she can do better!), the lyrics are strange and annoying and pointless. It's just stupid, she can do better and she has. Her new EP, supporting her Wal-Mart clothing line, releases August 31. As of August 4, only one song has been confirmed ("Party in The USA"). Looking at her clothing style, I now realize why little girls have been dressing poorly for the past few years or so, wearing revealing swimming suits, gothic clothing and loads of tanks tops. Miley is wearing a spikey bracelet on the cover. Is she trying to be more like Avril Lavigne? And Miley is frequently photographed wearing revealing clothing as well. Does she want little kids to model themselves after her?

Joe and Brenda?

On August 2, Joe was caught out and about with fellow Disney star Brenda Song. Only one week after break-up with Camilla Belle, Joe has apparently found new love. They made an effort to trick the paparazzi by having Joe drive his car one block then having Brenda get in.

In my opinion, the two aren't really dating, or if they are, it won't last long. Brenda reminds me of a girl I know, and if she really is like her, it won't last.

iCarly buzz

iCarly is a show I never really watch, and I never really talk about on here, but it's an OK show and I watch it sometimes. There have been rumors that it was cancelled, but were said to be false; they have begun filming a third season. Victoria Justice (from Zoey 101) will guest star in an iCarly movie -- "iFight Shelby Marx", airing on August 8. This may possibly be the season finale. There are no announced dates for the beginning of season 3.
